Pretty sure they confirmed it was done themselves rather than rented.

Fair enough, just wondered as they wanted to do the bars but in the end left that to the promoters.

If it was them I'm just surprised they actually managed to organise it at all Cheesy

Renting the ground is the way to do it though really. Less profit if its a success I'm sure but takes the risk out.

They wouldn’t get away without relaying the pitch every season. The drainage situation has now been resolved/improved. Hopefully the new groundsman can be as good as Marcus was on his day.

I think this related to an entire overhaul after the club were asked questions about the state of the pitch this season.  I might go and dig around, but I think the club responded by stating they would not be doing a complete re-do, instead it's the standard end of season stuff.

Cheers Robert, it’s hard keeping up with negativity which surrounds the club these days but hopefully we will have a decent pitch for the coming season.

I’m going to lump all of this into one message as I can’t be bothered to sort it out.

Conversations held with senior managers over the weekend have resulted in the following.

1: ‘New’ Manager to be announced this week.

2: Five, yes five new players to be announced this / next week.

3: Friendly against High Wycombe 3rd August.

4: The concert weekend made a profit.

That’s all for now folks!

Once again, don’t shoot the messenger.  I’m not responsible in anyway for the accuracy of this info.

Haha its not April Fools day......
