Hawes:
- Cant see them getting the required amount of point to stay up
- Looked at this week as being crucial
- The whole recruitment issue wasnt answered.
- At least Sheridan didnt give any flannel
- He called out the goals as being terrible to concede
- Either players arent good enough or cant respond to what he tells them
- Hes been here for a while. The players have been here for a while. The wins are infrequent
- At least from his tone you could tell it hurts
- Pitman: Sheridan thought Pitman should have scored from the right of the area, but he fired his shot into the terrace. Not been on a good run and on form. You dont argue with a decision to take him off, but to replace with a defender. But we were getting in a position, like we got to against Burton, where he was starting to get service he could have worked with. Broadbent tried but could make anything of it
- Whole squad has been shuffled. Thought theyd hit on 3 at the back. The weaknesses have come back. Surprise element may be the reason. Then the problems come back
- Maybe the whole recruitment thing is the reason that Wellens was sat here watching rather than leading the team

I'd have asked Sheridan how he thought he was doing managing the team.

That was a new low, in pretty much every department, even by the appalling standards Sheridan has set himself this season. Plumbing as yet unparalleled depths. I have no doubt he can do worse though and that he will prove it before the season is out.

Not read back, did anyone catch what Brett, Brett, Brett, Brett Pitman, Brett Pitman said when he was subbed that BBC Wilts felt they had to apologise for?

He did a swear pre-watershed on a localised public service broadcast (even if indirectly) so BBCWilts are duty bound to apologise of course  Smiley

Yeah, I got that. But what did he say and was it directed at Sheridan or just general cussing?

I think the question was more 'what swears did he do and how directly at El Shez were they?'

41 games in, missed 1 game all season (didn’t realise we were kicking off early one week...), £10 a game, £400 later.. I’ll save the last £50 and bet it all on Swindon to go down. At least I’ll make some money back on this god awful season.

Update: The odds are so bad, it’s not even worth bothering to do!

Win or bust Saturday then. What a thoroughly shit season.

Power and Sheridan would never have gotten away with this had fans been in the stadium.

A sorry state of affairs all round. This club has tested my patience further than ever before from off field shenanigans to the dross being served up on it.

Of course the fans shit out the most but i'd take relegation if meant a new owner and manager being put in place over the summer.

Unfortunately that looks like the very best scenario we can hope for. Think Town supporters deserve more!

Aye I know, was being a buggar  Grin

They were definitely directed at El Dino. I can't remember exactly and would not like to misquote the aspic coated one. Will go and have a rewatch/listen, unless someone gets there before me. To me they were partly inaudible too.

Don't blame you. I don't see a single thing that Swindon fans should feel attached to or proud of currently. The club just exists to me at the moment.

Embarrassing manager who looks like Brian Clough compared to our owner who has left the club and it's supporters out to dry with zero communication.

We don't even try to play the game in the right way - something that has kept me going when we've had poor sides in the past. We're just a run of the mill hit and hope bunch of misfits. Maybe we should have tried playing football on the deck when it became very clear very early on into Sheridan's tenure that we do not have the players for "percentage football".

The Curran situation just rubs salt into the wounds.

Sadly i feel very little affiliation to what we are currently. Not my Swindon!
