I imagine Grant will end up playing centre half. You can well imagine he started selecting the team with the single thought in his head that Conroy and Broadbent won't be allowed to play, popped 11 names down and has then realised he doesn't actually have a back four.

So, he’s gone from 2 CBs, to 3 CBs, back to 2 CBs, now 1, maybe zero, CBs.
He used to be indecisive. Now, he’s not so sure.

Based on where people have played under him so far, we could conceivably line-up with two right backs, two left backs and five in central midfield. It would certainly confuse the opposition.

The thing is this just reinforces how petulant and clueless Sheridan is. When you think back to previous games when he brought on Curran ahead of both Odimayo and Grant in games and now he’d rather only have one CB than include Curran in the starting XI. You literally couldn’t make up how inconsistent his decision making is!
