Now I’ve seen it all. Evans showing class shaking Brett’s hand as he comes off.

Not sure why Caddis is shithousing the ref here.

I believe; There is a protocol at the moment to do with the disinfected balls dotted around the pitch. The gills player picked up a disinfected one off the cone when he should have used the live ball next to it. Players are briefed before the game and I think caddis was proving the point but it was very strange to see it bother him that much and you should be having the ref on your side ready for the timewasting that will come later on.

Alternative commentary: we were much better that half than in the last three games. Scrappy game against similarly modest opposition, but we're frequently passing out accurately from the back - at least when we stop the centre-halves lumping it. As a result, the midfield have been much more influential, and Grant and Lyden are frankly a huge upgrade on Palmer and Payne. Trueman has been sharp, and tried some good quick throws out, Garrick has the LB in his pocket which has brought Caddis into attacking positions behind him, though delivery has been challenging in the wind. Thompson is quick and has made some very important tackles. No-one has played badly that half, though not much has gone through Joel G and Dion has looked a little off the pace.

Now we'll see if we can do it into the wind.

Didn't even realise Joel Grant was playing TBH.

Trueman worries me a bit when he comes out for crosses.

The thing is. Do I carry on watching, expecting the inevitable, or just dip in and out and hope for the best?

Also nice assist from new captain, Lyden. Which seemed to have been missed. Great goal all round. Similar in style and character to last season.

It's not hard, if this team is allowed to play then they are good enough for mid table. If they're instructed to just lump it by the screaming psycho on the sidelines, then they will likely go down or possibly just avoid the drop.

This season could be so much easier on us all.
