I'll ask again, how many games has Rob Hunt played in his preferred postion in league 1 this season?

I'll remind you again, Tom Broadbent was still under the charge of a manager who refused to play him, regardless of available option. It seems he might have another of a similar ilk.

Rob Hunt is a utility full back capable of playing LB or RB. When he has played, has has played in either of these positions. The same could be said for the likes of Caddis (usually).  They personally both may be prefer to play at RB but where you prefer to play isn't always the main factor in a squad game. At L2 both players are capable of playing LB or RB. Caddis could probably do both at L1 and has done previously but we're talking this season with an older player now. Rob Hunt, currently can't play either his "preferred position" or on the other side at L1 level.

Why the manager has fucked around with the team (bar injuries) from the previous match, I don't know. Especially in defence where some kind of continuity is key. I think, even if we disagree on the ability of Rob Hunt at this level, Grounds should not have started.

Well there is no doubt Broadbent is decent in the air and will cause problems in their box, unsual though, might work.

If DJ is anywhere near fit then we should be putting everything through him down the flank here.

Oh fuck me Broadbent is up front. We're into Antoine van der Linden territory.

Hopefully more Steve Walsh of Leicester effect.

In fairness - I can certainly see the logic in it.

Oh fuck off. In L2 yes Rob Hunt was good. LAST FCUKING SEASON. Fuck me, if I get employee of the year in 2019 does that mean I'm entitled to it in 2020? Based of what I did last year? Especially when stepping up a level and that area of work is more competitive and challenging? Another guy comes along and does well. But we bin him off because it's jobs for the boys and like, ya know this other guy was employee of the year last year so it makes logical sense doesn't it. You know, to not treat your employees equally or fairly.

I'll write more sentences just to piss you off if you bring it up. Cunt.

I understand your point of view bamboo, and calm down by the way.

What I will say is that you are contradicting your own point.  You are saying that Broadbent deserves to be playing and must have pissed off the entire management teams based on next to no appearances in a team full of confidence and quality last season and 1.5 half decent performances this season.

Whereas Rob Hunt should be binned after a very strong consistent season last year and 5 or 6 dodgey injury impacted performances, in a team lacking of confidence and quality, with poor Gk's behind him and inconsistent CB's beside him, not in his favoured position this season?  That doesn't add up - talk about stacking the cards against Rob Hunt and giving Broadbent the opportunity improve on a bar that, this season, has so far been set so low it's almost unbelievable.

That is all

If he's as good as Chris Sutton, Dion Dublin or even Andy Rowland we may have a chance of scoring😁

Obviously I truly hope it works and I look a right cunt but if Plan B with half an hour to go is a reserve centre back who didn't have a squad number a fortnight ago up front then we are properly, genuinely lost.

We’ve been going more direct in the last few games. I’ve no issue with that when you have someone up top, or on the wing who can win the ball in the air, which we don’t. Maybe Broadbent is the answer...
