Hopefully Sheridan can come up with a plan whereby we nick a win. We've not looked up for fight against these away from home especially for a long time (have we ever even scored at the Kassam?) 90th minute Broadbent winner would be sensational.

Even though Oxford aren't exactly world beaters right now this is the most resigned I've felt going into a league game with them. Possibly ever (including 16/17).
It is what it is but if we do somehow manage get anything from the game it'll feel just incredible.

Everything is against us. A fog of depressions surrounds the clubs. The ownership in question, the management in question. Injuries. Poor players. Dreadful recent history in this game....
Wouldn't it be so Swindon to get a win.

I think Obika had a goal disallowed in a JPT game if that counts

If we don't have any players come back from injury, I can only see us being able to try to park the bus.
I suspect it will be another game like the Rovers one - Two teams devoid of quality trying not to get beat.
Will we go the whole game without gifting a goal or two? Doubt it.

Keep your bollocks covered saturday lads In all honesty, be interesting to see if anything comes of this, this was in a melee at the end of the game. Preston had a player charged for the same thing and is looking at a possible ban

Preston had a player charged for the same thing and is looking at a possible ban That's Matt Taylor, their striker by the looks of things. An immediate ban would be ideal! Never understood why anyone has the mentality to grab another man's balls during a game, yes Gazza famously did it to V.Jones for shits and giggles, but I just can't get my head around why anyone would want to do what Taylor did?

I laughed when I first saw the Vinny Jones / Gazza pic (at about the age of 6) but I suspect the FA would take a dim view of this nowadays. He’ll likely get a ban but appeal to defer any suspension until after the weekend. He’s hardly Messi, so not bothered if he plays or not. There will be two very average sides playing each other on Saturday. Is it not also the case that the ref must have seen or reported the incident for it to lead to a ban?

This was post match in a melee amongst players and coaching staff. Jackett reckons both teams will be charged at least
