We’ve beefed up the defence with a start for Taylor Curran - penalty incoming!

would anyone else find it amusing if Fryer let one in under his foot at the front post .

I'm torn between that and him having a binder

I know it's the pointless trophy but that might be the least convincing Town lineup I've seen in many a year.

I will be watching as the wife will be watching Cats the film and I would rather por salt into a festering anal fissure than watch that, the same sometimes applies to watching the Town.

So does this mean we line up like this?

                      Fryer
Hunt Odimayo Curran Baudry Iandolo
          Haines      M Smith
J Smith                      Stevens
                  Pitman

With Hunt and Iandolo as wingbacks so 5221 or 3421

I assume so PV, Wolves always line up that way, Southgate has given it a whirl recently too.

Quite flexible going between 5 at the back when defending and 3 when attacking with Hunt and Iandolo bolstering midfield with neither having to bomb down the wings with 2 wingers playing in front of them.

That said its rare that we play with 3 centre backs and when we have under Wellens it has never really clicked, so far.

So, who is going to make the (first) defensive howler leading to a goal tonight?

Also you can check into any teams game, just not two at the same time. If you win you get a swindon prize

Ah ok! So if there are league/cup games on and Swindon aren’t playing you just check into a random game and get a spin?

I won a free iFollow pass specifically for this game so I may actually watch some of it. FGR would usually play a few youths in this (they had two U16s play in one of their previous Trophy games this season) but their U18s have all been put into isolation after a COVID outbreak so they will have to play a strongish side, FWIW.

I reckon FGR could put a supporters 11 up and beat us.
