Lost Lyden already and with a few others already having niggles a midweek off is probably better.

Hopefully a reality check for some - there are some very talented players at this level and we won’t be strolling through matches as we could in League 2 at times.

I said during the week that Charlton always have a knack of bringing in players and wasn't fooled that they never had enough for a half decent squad despite off the field problems

I think classing Conroy as a sick note is harsh - he’s been very unfortunate with 2 near career ending injuries.

Maybe so but neither he of Baudry can be relied on at the moment and what is on show today is the defence which is poor.
We need a quality defender as its obviuous we are venerable in the area. Grant will be playing there soon.

Baudry played 24 of 33 league games last season, his injury problems aren’t as bad as you make out. His first spell out was because Theo Robinson did a dirty off the ball kick out so would even count that.

After last season, I'd almost forgotten one of things I hate most about losing is the parade of doomsters, no-lifers and told-you-so merchants that emerge from the woodwork.
