Been waiting for this podcast for a long long time. Shame there was no mention of the Michael Poor fan club flag at the back of the Intel stand!!!

I still have the signed number 19 shirt - black kit!

I thought Pooky came across positively to be honest. Speaks very well.

He got some right abuse from Town fans didn't he. Although he never seemed to take this to heart from what he was saying.

He gave me a scowl once when I had a go at his corner delivery - this was about 3 hours before kick off and they were out practicing, he scuffed it along the floor, awful.  I think we'd just been out putting up cardboard cutouts behind the goal before that was a thing.

I remember this incident very well!

Came across very well, what was depressing was how few home grown players in my time supporting have actually made an impression on the senior squad.

I saw him turn up for Chippenham Vs St. Neots a few years back, he was a little more portly than I remember but he still a decent touch on him and could hit a fairly decent diag.

TBF as has been covered elsewhere that's in large part because some of our better prospects have often been sold before getting to that stage. So their impact on the senior squad is limited to paying some of their wages Smiley

Yeah, only part way through but a very good listen so far. Seems quite a laid back bloke, suspect that belies the amount of hard work and determination it must have taken to have a career as an established pro. Interested to hear he started out with Robins, both my lads played there, great club (and yes Rich, you can tell him Robins are still going strong!)
