I love a bat shit, colourful, crazy, abnormal away kit.
Yet much prefer tradition home kits.

Have to say I hate all this ‘same template’ bollocks with a passion.
Can anyone remember template kits became a thing? Lonsdale 03/04 maybe I dunno.

Thing is we don't shift enough unit to go beyond template do we.

In truth I have no idea.

I just remember our kits being unique in the 90s. That maybe my childhood rose tinted specs or just not having the same access to view football across the globe.

Like I don’t remember any other team having the round neck collar we had in 95 with Mizuno. Even the other clubs with Mizuno kits.

Other clubs definitely had that mental Mizuno goalkeeper kit we had but aside from that I think you're right. Think we've had templates since 2003 really when we moved from that DGI to Strikeforce / Lonsdale

That Mizuno kit was a classic, especially the away one!

I suppose we were still a 'big'ish club then not long out the PL and all that!

The Jigsaw puzzle kit.

Yeah, I remember other teams having that keeper kit too...

The DSM kit was unique!

Because it was made out of the heaviest material known to man?

If you want bespoke you go to the small manufacturers, with the big companies its template or nothing sadly.

Perhaps we could go back to years gone by and revert to plain shirts with no sponsors or club badge.

I like the detailing of the Rotherham one, esp. "The Millers" detailing. Nice touch that. But yes very Arsenal!

I imagine the honeycomb one in red might be our new home shirt next season.

As long as our away shirt isn't yellow, it would look like the Blockbusters board.
