Oh deffo Grant in midfield if we can get in a cb or baudry/fryers are fit.

It is still a pretty decent 11.

What was Baudry’s injury? Can’t see Fryers being fit in a week.

I think letting Zakuani go means Wellens is comfortable with someone returning and/or Broadbent filling in.
Zakuani's hamstring went so he was injured anyway so imagine that factored into his release as well.

As for Saturday we can field a half decent XI but the problem is that's it, other than McCormick you wouldn't say we have a single 1st team player to go on the bench assuming neither centre backs miraculously recovers.

The two highest scoring teams in the league, although we've just lost our main goal threat.
However, Yates is the 2nd highest scorer in the league, and Anderson recently bagged a hat trick, so we should still be OK attacking wise (hopefully).

A well fought 3-2 victory in front of 7,800.

I wouldn't trust that timeline!

I dunno, looked like something (Quad?) let go against Vale. He was pretty much just hopping around to make 11 players for the last 10 minutes. He’ll be out for a while yet I would expect.

Got my ticket online earlier and it's a lot less busy than before Cambridge / Bradford. Would be a shame to drop below 8K but I guess there's a bit of negativity around at the moment.

I wouldnt really say negativity, I would say its more a lot of disappointment at the whole Doyle situation.

The only negativity has come from those who do not attend/watch games and are always negative, makes them shout louder.

These match threads are starting earlier and earlier which is surely a (small) sign that there's a lot of excitement around the club at the moment.

I'm buying into the Wellens mind games re injuries theory.  We'll have a team.  I'm going and expecting a good game and a good win.

3-1  Att 7030 with 309 Crewe.

How's Anderson being out a silver lining?

One of the best attacking players at the club when on form, which he has been this season, massive loss IMO.
