I did wonder whether this delay could all be related to the fact that we are coincidentally playing Mansfield on Saturday and they were being awkward regarding his registration, but they straight sacked him didn't they?

And he has played for us since

I'd love him to slot one against Mansfield.

Yeah that came out last Monday and Wellens also spoke about it before the game on the radio before the last game.

I hope its cleared now and he is back, not sure you could drop Caddis or Hunt to bring him straight back in though as both did decent jobs last week even if Hunt is a way better right back than left back he has been one of our most consistant players this season so far.

Surely with Isgrove it's simply a reference to his record of repeated injuries rather than a "chequered past" as such?

Think that is a reference to their injury record, rather than anything untoward. I had the same thought when I first read it.

Me too, lumping injuries with legal issues is a bit of poor journalism IMO.

If it is simply the injury record, that's a seriously loose and unnecessary link.

From memory, and I could be very wrong, I thought Wellens was referring to them not knuckling down as youngsters, getting a bit caught up in their position as top level pro's and allowing it to slip away a bit.

Its a bit of a leap from there to beating us a lass in a nightclub and allegedly thumping a youth team colleague....
