Got a bit of an ancient iPad which is fine for what I need but lately it’s becoming a real problem charging it.

Is it likely to the iPad battery or a dodgy charger? Time to upgrade maybe.

If it charges slowy and runs out of charge quickly then its the battery.

If it is a problem to get it to actually tell you that its charging, when you have to wiggle the connection or sometimes it doesn't work then its more often than not the charging port is dirty or broken.

Bit of both, tbh. It’s hit and miss when I connect the charger - bit of wiggling usually sorts it out after a while.

When it does bother to charge it is slow. Bought a charger from Amazon a while back and the fucker blew up first t8me I tried to use it.

What charger are you using? I find a lot of poeple try to chare an ipdad using an iphone charger and whilst it will work, it will be slow.

You need a proper iPad charger, the 2 piece chunky jobbies. (technical i know.)
