Doughty brought down in the corner for a Town free kick.

Free kick finds it way to Dunne on the edge of the box but he shoots at the keeper, easy save.

Richards is doing ok but I wonder if House has some pace because McNulty has the speed of an oil tanker.

Might be a good switch later if we can keep it at 2-0 deep into the second half

Jennings heads over the bar with an unchalleneged header from 6 yards, terrible miss from Tranny.

Koiki out of position in defence then.

Woolery poor cross in a good position almost turned into the defenders own net.

Better defensive tackle by Koiki in the 6 yard box.

New player has nervous 15 mins on full debut?, well I never

Did I criticise him for being nervous?

HT 2-0 to Town, easily in control and not really under much pressure.

Best 1st half performance this season.

Best 45 I recall watching for a long time. Good going forward, solid defensively, new boys impressing, Doughty, Keshi and Kaiyne all at it, tactically superior...

Really like Broadbent on that 45 mins.

They have looked a lot better since going to a 442 though. Not over.

I wonder if this is the heaviest 11 in the league.

No but I did, and rightly so at the time.

To be fair he's been shaky at times in posing and defending, but very useful in attack.

First game I've watched since the Newport boycott trophy game (on iFollow). Look a totally different team to last season and all that people have said about this year too. Formation is working well with a strong press which rattled Tranmere and eventually forced them to change their formation using their second sub in the process.

We've had the rub of the green with some refereeing decisions but on the whole have looked the better side, being comfortable in possession despite a few wasteful moments, and generally looked a bit of a threat. Can't help feeling we'll conceded at some point so a third would be nice!
