Conroy good tackle on Smith to deny him, their striker dives under no challenge from Lancashire holding his face, looked to be no contact at all.

He started quite poorly but has grown into the game and is all elbows and legs, so close to scoring a couple too, hes come into the game well now.

Their number 5 Grimes can't cope with Adebayo at all.

Macclesfield are a very very physical team, lots of kicking of us and very little skill, they struggle to cope when we pass the ball and run at them and they cannot cope with Adebayo at the back who is now winning everything against a really poor couple of centre backs.

Lancashire and Conroy are both handling Smith very well and giving him little chance to make his mark.

Great move, interacting between McGlashan, Knoyle and Alzate ends with Alzate heading over the bar.
HT 0-0.

most enjoyable half. far more controlled than many games last session, and we should be 2-0 up at least.
but we aren't

Pretty good. The midfield looks V handy, there's a lot of skill in there. I think we're going to like Adebayo. We just need to be more clinical.

Enjoyed that, should be winning.
Like the look of all the new guys so far, all played well. Alzate/smith/adebayo very good indeed.
Ref shite as usual

You have to think we go on to win this, they should tire as well.
Better than anything I watched last season. Some tidy looking players on the ball and Adebayo is much better than I was expecting given reviews before this game. A good central target to play off. How the keeper got away with cleaning out Anderson is beyond me, and the first one somehow ended up with our player being booked!

Was going to say the same. Loving the control and tidy turns in midfield. We appear to have some footballers this season.

Have played well Should be winning, but aren’t and that’s the concern.
As others have said Adebayo has grown into the game and is making life difficult for their defence. Alzate looks a good signing, plenty of skills & no lack of effort.
All in all we look to have the makings of a decent team, just need to get a goal from somewhere

I think Adebyao started very slowly but really grew into the game, he looks a very good target man after the slow start, probably nerves.
Smith can pass the ball and run with a lot of pace, needs to get forward a little more but has had a very good game.
McGlashan has made some super runs, tracks back and can tackle too, is linking up very well with Knoyle and Alzate.
Alzate also started slowly but grew into the game, has a great touch and can make a good pass, puts in a lot of good runs and crosses too.
Doughty looks solid in the middle and made 2 great efforts in the 6 yard box and probably should have scored at least one of them, playing well.
Conroy looks like a new signing, has pace and control and was only beaten in the air once or twice all game, Lancashire still doesn't entirely convince me but we have looked in the main untroubled at the back.
Taylor put in a couple of good balls and crosses as well as a couple of free kicks, not his best game but hes playing ok.
Vigs has done everything asked of him, caught the ball, made 2 good stops and looks fairly untroubled, his distribution looks superb today too.
Anderson is also making some great runs into good positions and looks more eager than every before, just needs to add that final touch/shot to his armoury and he will be a good player, they can't cope with his pace at all.
Macclesfield have done what I expected, got bodies in the way and made it hard for us and hit us a couple of times on the break with long balls, they won most things in midfield early on but since about the 15th minute we have over run them in the middle, at the back they look slow and their keeper is lucky to still be on the pitch after taking out Anderson, keep the pressure up Swindon.
