Is this the first season where we have had no reports whatsoever from the pre-season tour?

I would have hoped we had heard who all of the other 4 players who went were (not just that one was Lloyd Sam).

I assume that they played some games in Spain?

Not sure there were many last season when we played Derby and Benfica behind closed doors either TBH, seems to be the way now with lots of clubs keeping it quiet.

Well, we know where we're goin'
But we don't know where we've been
And we know what we're knowin'
But we can't say what we've seen
And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

Primarily a bonding trip.... so if it doesn't make the tabloids, then that's good news.  PB, seems old skool so probably enjoys a bit of lad's culture himself.

So is the West Brom friendly still on on Saturday now that England are playing in the losers' final? (Apologies if this has already been answered, don't have time/can't be arsed to look)

not seen anything, getting a bit late in the day now so I guess bit.

Don't get the point of moving it anyway, plus a 1pm ko puts the baggies into potential a419 traffic chaos with RIAT

No idea (likewise cannot be arsed to look) however, from reading other threads, it seems sensible to cancel as we apparently don't have enough players to actually put a side out?  Wink Roll Eyes

This from the official twitter on Tuesday

‘Good Morning! We'll have the latest from the Gaffer later today as he continues to put his squad through their paces in 🇪🇸’

Nothing actually heard, though.

Still 3pm I think.

"Bronze medal" match.
Two knackered teams who would like to be on the way home.
Neither manager is going to learn anything new.
Possibly a run out for the bench warmers.

Club > country.

I bought a ticket today for the West Brom match, it's k.o. 3pm   I'm going to record the 3rd place match in case it's any good. (Unlikely).

Letting us have their IRA guy would liven things up.
