It was surprisingly good, the attendance was 3,587 Cool that's more than Brizzle got for their game. The game was good, entertaining attacking football and there were a few exciting prospects out there, look out for Daniel Sturridge, he was the best player out there by far.

Unfortunately, with 3,500 fans there I imagine the vast majority of them won't be returning for the Southend game. The club have missed out on an opportunity to try and beef up the crowd for the Southend game, if they'd told people that they could get in half price or even just at a reduced price for the Sarfend game if they kept their ticket stub from tonight, it may have persuaded a few to come along. With the huge number of kid's in attendance tonight, it would have been an ideal opportunity to get them watching live footy at Swindon. oh well.

I quite enjoyed the game this evening, but I have to agree I doubt many of those who turned up tonight will turn up for the Southend game, or any other game this season.

yeah i went it was quite good, although i had some stupid kid blowing a horn in my ear and telling me the county ground was full and could only hold 4,000 people!!!! it was dissapointing when i heard someone say 'i'd like to come to some more games but with the prices for tickets as they are i don't think i will be' i agree sonicyouth it would have been good just to have a bigger crowd for southend and show those kids what swindon can do!!!

Sonic I was just around the corner from you when you took those photos. Back row, to the right of the Press Box with Johno and Duff_Red and a couple of young ladies

My mates little brother went and all his mates went, why because it cost a couple of quid.....if Swindon games were that cheap then they would show up every week....

they used to be for under16s, block in the arkells just above where the disabled bit is, was £2 to get in. always used to sit there, in our last few seasons in div1. Will always remember our win over blackburn, one of their players got sent off for kicking mud at the ref   my best mate was a blackburn fan too, i laughed so much!

Yeah, actually the £2 junior ticket was the start of my mad spell for the club. Even if I wasnt strictly a junior.  Oops

The money I saved went on train tickets to away games.

Number 7 was great! Shame that wanker took him out so early!

The Arkells was pretty full but there was the odd spare seat all over the place making it look full!
