I wouldn't employ anybody who couldn't have a sensible discussion about the merits of different varieties of cheese. Infact if I'm ever in charge of employing people for something then there will be a 1500 word essay question on the application form on the subject so I wouldn't have to bother with interviewing cheese novices.
