Shame I would have liked him to come to us, if Charlton have that many decent strikers they can give us Bonne or Aneke then

My Lids supporting mate says Hull are favourites to sign him, he says he wasn't impressed when he saw him play but the club rate him very highly.

That would make more sense as Hull is local to Leeds

Oh I missed that, saying that I would like Aneke, he is always a huge handful to play against and isn't a regular starter for them.

Jamie Devitt is to join Newport on season long loan.
Seems they may be ditching their Land of the Giants approach.

Watched their game vs Newcastle, they hardly played a single long ball it was all on the deck.

I've seen a few highlights of their games and they seem to be playing some decent stuff

Seems Ellis Chapman, who we were strongly inked with pre season, is about to join Cheltenham.

Ben Woodburn on loan to Blackpool. He was the next big thing not so long ago, and now he's backup to Jerry Yates (probably).

I suspect it will be the inverse of that, a player who has 10 caps and a quad player at a top PL club is unlikely to be allowed to go out on loan as a bench warmer, also remembering the close links between Liverpool yoof and Blackpool's manager (who I note has still only won 1 of the ten games he has been in charge for)!

Shrewsbury have just signed Charlie Daniels. Had a bad injury last year, but had been a premier league regular for the four seasons prior to that

Shame. The injury part really fits the bill of Swindon's curremt philosophy.
