How can a defender playing for a relegated team be worth £40m? And what the fuck are Man City doing buying him?

What’s happening to Jayden ‘pension pot’ Bogle?

50% would be nice.

That's probably why they asked for 40million 😁

Could well be, I expect that fee will have payments to the player paying his bonuses etc too, no way is he worth anywhere near that fee.

I agree and 20 million would have been a good price but maybe City think they're signing Ruud Gullit😀

BBC article yesterday was quoting £40m fee + up to £1m in add-ons.

I see our close yellow neighbours have signed Matt Taylor, not much of a surprise TBH being hes a fan of them, didn't impress me at all in the 3 play off games though but has a good record of scoring goals in our league.

Our neighbours in yellow are said to be about to be pipped in the signing of Glentoran striker Paul O’Neill.

And guess which team is leading the race to sign him?

Yep Blackpool, more competition for Yates/Anderson.

Northampton get a million+ for Charlie Goode.

[Obvious pun] bit of business for them. Especially at this time.
