Oddly enough my daughters used to sit on my lap as a matter of being father and daughter, they even put their arms around my neck when greeting me, kissed me, hugged me. They are still very affectionate because funnily enough, we love each other. It's called being related. If you ever, ever, ever insinuate that what I have is anything other than the natural relationship of a father and his female offspring then I will hunt you down and kill you, ok?

Nice assumptions there. My interest in "Hollywood" or any of its narratives are near 0. I've never personally owned a television. I don't read magazines. I find celebrity culture to be one of the most odious things on the planet. Oh, and I work with prisoners - I distrust most things at face value and I would not have got where I am today in my career/educationwithout some facility for critical thinking.

Also, I have a Dad. He's my best friend. We've been incredibly close for well.. 24 years. We've never had our picture taken in front of a statue of 2 animals shagging, though, and he's never even made reference to my figure let alone made a joke about finding it attractive.  I reserve the right to find that creepy.

Of course, that's through my own paradigm. But you have one too. You haven't somehow sidestepped the psychological process of socialisation just by having a view that's divergent from the main. Why should one be wrong and one right?

Lefty socialist wonk who thinks that everything should be "free". How can anything be free? The government doesn't have any money. It just means higher taxes.  Increase taxes on people then they change their behaviour. You don't get the money!

He imagines that wealth comes from nowhere, money falls from the sky, nobody has to work hard or clever to earn it. People have "stuff" apparently. He says that more tax is a request. He "asks" the millionaire/billionaire class to pay more.  No it is not, it's the forcible theft of money. The same as saying that rape is lovemaking. He wants to use a gun to the head to take money.

Communists hate the wealthy. Bernie hates the wealthy, because he isn't one, so he wants to steal more from the rich. What's wrong with being rich? Wealthy people have money to invest. Ever wondered who invested the money to start up mobile phone production? Or computers? Or any other nice stuff? Wealthy people in the USA already pay vastly more in tax with respect to what they earn than anyone else. The top 25% of earners pay over 85.6% of all income taxes.

It continues with corporations, more bollocks about tax increases without having any effect on the economy or jobs. Take it away from business people who know what to do with money and give it to some idiot civil servants?

Correct RF. I am an anarcho-capitalist. The reason I am is because I got heavily involved in local politics because of the Shaw Forest thing, then national politics (I stood as an independent candidate for MP for South Swindon in the General Election). It taught me a lot about how fucked up the system is and how bent the people involved in it are. Looking elsewhere I discovered philosophy and by reduction using reason and evidence leads you by first principles to the non-aggression principle and inevitably a free society as the best future for us all.

I don't want to break the existing statist system. It is far too screwed up already. I want people to use their brains to take the red pill and think for themselves and come to their own conclusions about what future they want from their children.

True story: a woman once said that to me on the phone. I told her it may be best for her to call again once she'd calmed down. She did, phoned back literally 10 minutes later, and offered to make me some muffins as an apology. To this day I'm curious as to whether that was genuine or she was plotting something
