2 weeks into my beard growth, but it's starting to, wait, I'm starting to quite like it, bit gingery, but alright so far.
As for writing things down, my wife bought me a dictaphone a while ago and it's very handy when you're out and about and ideas or work thoughts race through your mind, never seem to have the time to write things down.
You're a week in front of me. Is it still itching like a bastard?

This is 100% true. I too am growing a beard, but because I'm a lazy fucker as opposed to any other reason.

When I met Janaage a couple of times back in the fledgling TEF days he always struck me as a cool dude.
Now it's beards, verrucas and dictaphones. Is this what getting old is?

I am a female and I despise beards
Is there any reason other than laziness they are suddenly fashionable?

Ha ha, not sure I was ever a cool dude Dave! For me it's not getting old, it's just having kids. Two unde 4's makes my brain suffer in the memory dept and makes lose the will to scrape my face with a razor blade every day so it's time for a beard, won't last long though. Hertha, not much of an itch going on at all really, not as bad as when I had the tache for Movember. And Ells don't worry, I hate facial hair on women too!

I must be ahead of the times, had a beard for a couple of years, been clean shaven for nearly a year now. Full beard in 10 days, not sure what people are moaning about with regards to itching - that only lasts a few days.

I can't answer for anyone else, but for for me the main reason is I just wondered what it would look like. Oh and the laziness obviously. Getting up in the morning and not scraping my face with a sharp bit of metal is a very liberating feeling.

I'm currently working the next DV beard. It's been a while since I went full on big beard. About time it made a come back. Never had a problem with it being itchy either

As a veteran beard wearer, it's slightly annoying that they're now sported by utter bellends with top-knots. I can't wait for them to be unfashionable again.

If you like to be paid compliments by men, then growing a bit of beard is a good way to get these. Good tip for you there Ells
