This was my first Xmas in the emergency services, I did quite well having Xmas eve/day off... day shift playing catch-up today wasn't too fun though.

Went for a meal in Old Town and noticed how quiet it seemed in the surrounding bars when I left the restaurant and walked home. Popped into the Merlin for a couple of hours then cleared off home as soon as the countdown was done and ended up boozing for another 6 hours. I had a great night

My Sister in Law and her Husband throw a themes new years eve party every year. This years theme was Club Tropicana. Was great fun, had a gazeebo with a little PA system, how we didn't get complaints i dont know. Almost had to call it a night early as we had the little one with us and we couldn't get him off to sleep, but managed to eventually, so all was good.
