For me he's a bit Alan Connell , never really given the chance to succeed/fail.

But connell is a footnote now hardly mentioned. Except for this post.

I just hope that he has a good season with Pompey as then it will be a win-win situation for us, take him back as a better player or sell him on. Got to say that he seemed to be progressing well under PDC but not under Cooper although injuries did not help.

As usual only time will tell.
