Croatian manager, Audrey, has taken the unusual step of going on holiday during the week of his team's tournament opener against hosts, and possible favourites, Brazil.

Days before his departure for Santorini, Audrey said:

'I have complete faith in my squad behaving themselves in my absence. They will not, however, be on their own as I have employed former Swindon Town striker Nile Ranger as chaperone.

'He will undoubtedly persist with my hands-on approach to training and I refute suggestions that certain members of my squad if receiving an inch will take a yard.

'I have always taken an interest in the 'Greek Way' and this is the perfect opportunity for me to fine tune some tactics that may well prove invaluable upon my return'
