A point isnt too bad especially with a clean sheet which makes a change. Smiley

Don't want to jinx it, but wasn't Blackpool the last game we played which finished 0-0?  Come on Town ffs!!

hull away last season was 0-0 as was brizzle at home, i'm happy with a 0-0 today, it would have been typical swindon to concede right at the end when we were hangin on.

Last season, especially in the last twenty games, we would have been happy with a point.  We have a better team than last year, plusses are that Ifil is getting sorted out (Reeves?), we have a left winger, an old fashioned center forward, and cover for Evans.  Otherwise, if Migz were fit, we would not be concerned about midfield.  Pook is better than Oolitt, in front of the back four.  I bet Thorpe will start Tuesday night, with Cureton and Thorpe having to compete to play along side Fallon.

I think tuesday night we will go with

Heaton

Collins Comyn-Platt Ifil Nicholas/Smith

Shakes/Summerbee Pook Jenkins Nicolau

Thorpe Roberts

Whalley and O'Hanlon are both not fully fit so if they are rested and Migs isn't back, I think it has to be Jenkins in midfield unless Heath can play there and Comyn-Platt in central defence, alternatively we could have Collins in central defence and Jenkins at right back, perhaps Wells in midfield.

Heaton in goal would seem the odvious choice. Maybe give Summerbee one last chance for the board to change their minds although it seems pretty much decided so probably give Shakes a chance.

Thorpe and Roberts are likely to start up front to give them a chance to show why they should start.

Oh yeah Jenkins in for Collins then. I thought King said Thorpe and Roberts will get a game, though if Migs is fit I'm sure he will play.

i.e., Thorpe and Cureton to compete on a long term basis, with Thorpe playing on Tuesday.  One Thorpe is enough.  Is he related to Jeremy?
