"It is a bit of an overworked phrase, but there really are no easy games in international Stunners", said Costa Rica manager Wiggy at a press conference today.

When asked for his pre-tournament thoughts ahead of what looks like a very evenly balanced Group D, the former Uraguay manager was unusually forthright. "Italy have to be the favourites to do well in the later stages of the tournament. The second qualifying spot will be between us and Uraguay. England just don't have what it takes for competition stunners."

This is Wiggy's second stunners tournament, and Uraguay made all their opposition work hard last time round. "It was a steep learning curve, and I think I have a better understanding of how to win over the floating voters this time round."
