Prolific!

Good to have options, but this can't be the only striker we are in for.

Sounds more like a replacement for Ajose than Ranger

Fuck me!

Jimmy Krankie who hasn't got a senior goal?

Seems like this bloke needs someone as a foil to feed off but who knows...he hasn't scored yet...might as well stick with Storey....

Anyway...hope I'm wrong and he's a diamond.....I can't help thinking we will be underwhelmed whoever we sign...

Simon Cox had scored 3 goals in 23 before he joined us on loan, not too tall either as I remember so not too bothered about his stats, Williams will know what he's capable of

Because of Williams we  took a punt on a midfielder who couldn't get a game in the conference last term, that turned out ok. Not saying this guy will set the world alright, but so far our assistants judgement of his former Brighton charges has been pretty spot on.

Someone mentioned on another thread that certain players fit at certain clubs.

At 22 years old and with few games under his belt its a gamble, but if we can get him lets at least not write him off before he's even kicked a ball for us!

Was going to say something similar. Think Williams has earned some trust in his judgement to this point.

Aye twas me, some players do just seem a perfect fit for a club at the right time/tactics and nobody is better suited to know the score on both of those than Williams.

What is it with us signing vertically challenged players - lots of respect for Williams but surely we need someone in the Ranger style of play.... Hmmm

He's the same height as Ajose. I suspect this is his replacement rather than Ranger's

This signing shows up our predicament atm, having to punt on unknowns. It can't even be a case of "one for the future" we've possibly got a couple of these in Waldon and Jackson....Barker is going to have to deliver straight away. Let's hope that now his court case thing has been setttled, his head is in a better place.

Hopefully he wont be the new Ronan Murray.
