But do we want just be his club of last resort .

He can fuck off as far as I'm concerned

Haha fucking seriously?!

We should never sign someone who has such a lack of ambition that they'd choose to sign for us.

Christ.

I'd never want to be the member of a club that would have someone like me as a member.

I want players who want to play for us - not players who end up coming just because nobody better has come in for them.

I Agree with the sentiment but we'd have fuck all players. Its hardly the epitome of anyone's career playing for Town.

But the fella has said he doesn't want to drop down a league - but may consider Wolves.

He obviously thinks he is good enough for a Championship side, but if one doesn't come in for him he may agree to slum it at Swindon.

Doesn't smack of commitment to me

He is ambitious and believes in his ability to play at a higher level than us. Nothing wrong with that if came here and was determined to prove that point.

I imagine most of our players (and all of League 1) would rather play in the Championship and are effectively "settling" for us

Anyone who thinks any player who has anything about him wants to ply their trade at Swindon is fucking deluded. Every single player we've ever had, who had the opportunity,  left us. It's their job, not a lifetime commitment. If players feel they can do better than us they will. I've got no problem with that,  as long as they are committed when they are here.
