That sounds as if he is likely to have offers elsewhere.

Shame, as he seems a natural poacher.

Assume club philosophy will be that we have Reis coming back plus Storey and Jackson developing - So why would we want to break the bank on Ajose?

Barry Fry is talking the price up, most is bollocks.
Like most players that play for us, our style suits them well, if they leave I bet most will fade away to the sub bench.
Game time or a quick buck.

Hope we can keep him but if the moneys not there, it's not there. I think the best move for him is here, but all the best to him wherever he goes.

When does his contract with Posh expire, that may have a bearing on where he ends up.

Sounds like he's been the consummate professional but can only see us signing him if he agrees to a wage cut (unlikely) and Barry Fry doesn't play hard ball (again unlikely). Shame as he's done well but can't break the bank over him. He hasn't been a starter every week after all.

I thought he was out of contract end of this season. Ah well!

Ajose is one of those frustrating players who runs his arse off, gets in great positions but has a knack of fluffing good chances. That said a goal every 2 games is not to be sniffed at and I would love him back if we could as he's probably our best goalscorer. Ranger, N'Guessan and Ajose is a very good strike force for this level.
