Can't believe how casually some of you are treating this result. It is so much better than just a good result. I am absolutely ecstatic! First time we have ever beaten Forest. The season is very much back on track, 3 points from 3 very tough games is not too bad at all. King got everything spot on today too. A great momemt in our history. :guinness: :guinness: :guinness: :guinness: :advercool: :advercool: :advercool: :advercool: Whalley was class and Collins did very well too. And city are now bottom without scoring a single goal so far this season after the huge amount they've spent. :ha:

It showed that when Shakes and Roberts came on we looked so much more dangerous going forward!, Shakes put a wicked ball across the box which lead to the corner from which we scored. Roberts also showed signs that he is back to his best, Fallon was very good even when he lost the ball he did everything he could to get it back.

That right back was the worst player Ive ever seen. He annoyed me almost as much as Duke would have.

We're only winning 1-0? King out!!!!!!!!!! King did very well with his tactics. 2-1 is a good score. I'm happy.

Pleased that we won, but put it in perspective. Before the season started I was reading stuff about how poor Forest were and that it was likely that they were going to be in a relegation battle again this year.
Much too early to say which teams are good and bad yet. Still, 3 points is 3 points. Would have liked to have been on 6 or 7pts at this stage though with an unbeaten home record intact.

3 points, and 4 goals scored, is better than 1 point, and no goals scored...

Also to put in perspective, Forest were just a few years ago arguably the best team in the world and they are a team we had never beaten before despite playing 17 times. To finally beat them is a great achievement, especially as they have a very expensive multi-million pound team and are considered to be one of the favourites for promotion.
I find a lot of people tend to be quite happy if we win and very disappointed and angry if we lose, whilst I'm extremely happy if we win but if we lose, I'm not devastated unless it's a pivotal game, we can't expect to win every game so I love it when we do win.

The crowd was a bit disappointing, and I think that Shakes should definetely have started with Roberts partnering Fallon.
