I can't afford a Season Ticket this year, so was sort of hoping it would be two per ST. Oh well.
May yet be, they've not announced allocations yet have they?

I think to be fair Ardiles, most people just seem to be concerned about a. getting a ticket for themselves and then b. making sure the remainder go to genuine Town fans as opposed to armchair Chelsea who only want a ticket because they happen to be playing in their town. Well I like to hope so anyway.

Got to love how things get whipped up into a frenzy of 'what ifs?' and 'it should bes' every time we have a big or important game. The draw was only announced last night, have a bit of patience and stop trying to guess how the tickets will be allocated. There'll be an announcement on the club site soon enough I'm sure!

Quit it with your calm collected reasoning, this calls for a massive knee jerk reaction!

You're only saying that 'cause you're a season ticket holder

Haha I know and I'd be the same without a ST as london_red's pointed out. I do sympathise with regular fans who won't end up being able to go but unfortuantely someone will have to lose out.

Times change don't they....in 93/94 in the Prem..."giants" Chelsea, had a smaller crowd at Stamford Bridge just over 11,000, for the game v STFC, than the 16000 at the CG

The home game with Chelsea was my only game that season. We lost 3-1 I think.

What a coincidence! I was working at the club then and that was the only game I missed all season with illness!

So, I've put together a team of Chelsea's reserves that they might play-
Schwarzer, Bertrand, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Kalas, Essien, Mata, van Ginkel, Moses, Lukaku, Ba
That's a pretty terrifying second string.
Some of those will probably be involved but I anticipate there will be some from the next level down, too.

It was early Jan 1994. Hoddle's first game back after leaving us just 7 months before. They murdered us and cries of 'Judas' rang around the ground. And as Reg points out, this was in the days before they attracted all their hangers on. The were a bog standard top flight side with poor crowds.

If the club are sensible and keep it to 1 per st holder then the number who miss out will be minimal really.

They'll have 2 games televised - obviously Manc v Scouse will be one and STFC v Chesea the other
Could be on a Wednesday
