With prices like that it's going to be that more people who turn up just to see premier league footballers than people who are actual Swindon fans, absolute disgrace

I'm surprised it isn't full price.

On another note, Brentford are charging £25 a ticket when they play Celtic in July and have allowed away fans to buy tickets anywhere in the ground bar the home terrace. Mark Devlin said they need a near sell out to make money on the fee they paid Celtic to play them!

Some night feel it's worth it if the likes of Bale put in an appearance.  However, that's not guaranteed and if it ends up being Spurs reserve team, people won't be happy.

I saw this and thought "Yes, I'll be going to that!"

Then I saw the price. I could go to a league game for that and while the opportunity to watch Bale et al play for twenty minutes before being replaced by the reserves is appealing, it's not worth £20.

£20 is extortionate for a friendly game in my opinion.. Mainly because they aren't nearly as entertaining as league games, regardless of who we're playing. But I'll still be there regardless, wouldn't want to miss the chance to see the likes of Bale ect even if they are subbed off after half time or whatever.

I bet half the people complaining will still go. Not often we get to see our team play a top premier league side, competitive or not. Maybe I earn too much but 20 doesn't seem too much to me. Id rather pay an extra tenner and watch us v Spurs than Birmingham.

I'd pay £20. But only if it was guaranteed that the likes of Bale and at least 5 or 6 more "stars" are going to play. If, as is probably going to happen, it is going to be a Spurs youth team with a sprinkling of reserves and one or two fringe first teamers I'd be mightily pissed off at paying that amount.

No way I'm paying £20 to watch a glorified training session

This is my view, though I'll probably be pressured into going by my son.

Its a pointless kick around, its Spurs, good team but not exactly Man U, Barcelona, Real or Bayern - which are about the only 4 teams I'd deem worthy of twenty. I'd genuinely rather have Birmingham City, though that's partly because I sit next to a City fan at work.

£20 is insane for league one football, let alone a friendly. Football needs to get it's business in order.
