What did we have last season, 3.5/4k season tickets? If they are paying roughly £13 (read that figure somewhere) a match, every match, and our average attendance is, say, 7k, then you've got another 3.5/3k paying £25. (Yes I know there are special offers, Junior Reds etc., but let's keep this simple for a moment). If we take the higher figure for season tickets, that gives you rough estimate of £127k for each home game.
If you reduced tickets to £15, and that, say, enticed another 500 people to come, you're looking at something more like £104.5k. Not to mention that it de-incentivises people from buying season ticket - if you can get in to every match for only a couple of quid more than having a season ticket would allow you to, then quite a few would not bother.
Don't take this as gospel, I'm using basic figures to prove a point - from a financial standpoint, you'd have to attract a couple of thousand extra punters to make a price drop worthwhile, and you'd alienate season ticket holders too.
Plus if more people come, the pies will run out even quicker...

Presumably, as they have pretty much kept the prices that were set by the previous board. |

The gap between season ticket and matchday prices is too big. Of course the season tickets are great value but it's to the detriment of non season ticket holders. £25 quid for league 1 is not good value |

I believe we had just under 5,000 season (4800ish?) tickets last season and a press release a few weeks back said we were "approaching 5,000" So I guess a 10% increase must see us in the 5,300 range now.

Poor example as I doubt you find any league 1 with match day tickets at £15. I'm guessing we are the most expensive in the league? That is the problem I have. Il still pay but I imagine its puts off a lot of people and you can see from away fan turnout what they think |

I know a few at work that wont go as is £25 a go
Of course nothing to say they would if price dropped either as apart from the DR the ground isnt exactly tempting or pleasing to the eye
And if our home form is poor ( dipped massively after January ) its hardly a recipe for getting extra bums on seats

What's wrong with the arkells as an away stand? Unless you get high numbers the atmosphere doesn't hold but apart from that can't seem the problem. You look on any away forum before they play us and the reason is down to a £25 ticket after travel expenses. |

Seen more than a few away posts about stewards ignoring home fan abuse, uncomfortable seating, no leg room etc No home atmosphere in arkells either Long time since I have been in the Arkells so have no idea how true |
