Collins if Jenkins isn't fit.
Roberts / Shakes - Close decision.

I agree with that, but I would play Roberts and Fallon/Cureton up front with Shakes on the right wing.

I think Ifil should be given a chance in the centre of midfield.

If I learnt one thing last night it was that we desparately need a ball-winner in midfield (Both in the air and on the deck) pretty much at any cost.
It doesn't have to be pretty, just win the ball and get it to Whalley and the wingers!

Grant Smith was fairly good at that.

Yeah I agree, was only joking, that is why Jenkins was played there which is a perfectly understandable and sensible decision, but some people see it as an easy excuse to slate the manager.

King's tried Jenkins in midfield before and it hasn't worked, so why did he have to complicate things at Barnsley by playing a central midfielder out wide and a right back in the centre of midfield?

He has also tried Jenkins in midfield before and it did work. The reason for it is the same as playing Ifil there, we need a ball winner in midfield.

Jenkins is far better at right-back than he will ever be in midfield, he's simply not going to make it as a midfielder and we'd be better off sticking him at full back and getting on with it.

From last night i know he was out of position but Jack Smith was a pile of wank! I thought Nicho wasnt too bad and shud be given another chance. Collins had an indifferent game so not sure bout him yet. Thorpe was crapmbar his goal - does he do any selfless running? Roberts was good and so too were shakes well he was lively n nicolau (sp?!) was useful and shud start on sat.

Would drop thorpe have a front 3 of Fallon Roberts n Cureton prob with cureton jst behind the other 2?
