I've discussed this with Manure supporting mates over the years and i've always seen Moyes as the man to take over and they haver not always agreed. Now the time has come i'm not sure myself as Fergies shoes are maassive ones to fill. Moyes has not had huge sums of money to spend and although he has done a great job at Everton hasn't won anything.
Mourinho has a huge ego so the job won't faze him and he guarantees trophies. Doesn't stay at clubs for years though so that counts against him a bit

Am I the only one that's thinking the Man Utd board / owners realised that if they wanted Mourinho as Ferguson's replacement then the only time was now and they must've given him some incentive (£££) to go?
