I want to be a Hobbit.

A life of chilling, eating and drinking sounds good to me. I don't want any adventures though.

When I was a young chap, I met an older married woman living in Lechlade, who was a bit obsessed, by LotR. Her house was called Lothlorien...she told me I reminded her of Aragorn son of Arathorn. Wasn't sure if it was the enigmatic scruffy Ranger, or the King of Gondor, that she saw.

So, did you forge her ring?

The husband was away in London a lot of the time, so I think she wanted it, but I've always lived by the rule, that other men's women are to be left alone...unless it's completely obvious there's no mileage left there.

Ah Reg - sounds as if you are honourable - therefore very much like Aragorn, whether as a ranger or the King of Gondor!

As Flashheart says - chilling, drinking and partaking of the 'pipeweed'. It's a Hobbit's life for me!

No, otherwise Hobbits would be called Halflings.

I was a Flamboyant Light mage called Reginald the Overly Ambitious in mine.

I can feel DMR's scorn already.

There were all sorts, depends what monster manuals you owned. Gygax passing was a sad day.
