I read afterwards that the journalist in question apparently has a history of making stuff up, but I’ve no idea. Must be tiring being an expert in everything.

It is my take of course. I accept your own opinion, even if I don't agree with it, yet you seem mightily offended though. Apologies...maybe you are Jon Nic? For what it's worth we were talking about a "journalist" and their writing style; I wasn't attacking your own writing style, yet it seems you've brought the bar down to that level of by doing so towards me? Too much time inside maybe? 

I'm just saying it reads like a fabricated conversation transcript. There's no way either of us can prove or disprove the conversation ever happened. The only thing we could do is look for other sources that may back up this conversation, possibly by the said authors publication. However it seems like there is nothing else forthcoming. Which added to the doubt of its genuity imo.

PS: Well honed critiques of bad accents in online casino ads was very accurate and relevant for the thread it was directed to but it's nice to know you read the detail

Or maybe we live in a society consensus where it struggles to accept that some people absorb more stuff than others? So to make themselves feel better they have a cheap shot. Winning.

Point being, I wouldn't trust Jon Nic as far as I can throw him (and that's not far, I'd go into the science of it but...anyway). Understandably you don't have to trust me but then I'm not getting paid to write articles (and 'thank fuck you're not' I hear you mutter).
