The minutes applause at todays match with the names being read out of those sadly departed.

And i noted Stevenage fans responded brilliantly also......i would say that was right for football today.

They fucked it right up, the tannoy in the DRS is so shit you couldn't hear the names being read out.

Previous seasons its been a minutes silence whilst the names are read out, much more appropriate that way.

I thought it had been applause for the last few years, I remember a big cheer going up last season when Paolo's parents names were read out.

That said, you are right about the tannoy in the DRS, couldn't hear any of the names yesterday which was a shame.

I thought they used to read the names out then did the clap. Couldn't hear a thing in the DRS this year.

Interestingly he was on 5Live and told a slightly different version - that he had plenty of money (he used to have a somewhat high-powered job but quit to be at home) and only hadn't booked rooms etc because he was waiting to see if he could get a ticket before spending more time in Madrid. Rightly he seemed a bit brassed of at being portrayed in this way...

Jose still comes out of it well.

The work of the Community Trusts....at all 92 clubs. Really excellent work being done, largely unsung.  Was at a brilliant fund-raising evening last Friday in the Legends which raised £3.5k for the Girls Development Squad to play in the Gothis Cup in Sweden, and tomorrow there's another event in the Sponsors' Lounge for the Zambia Link.  It's community development work at its best.

Congratulations Yeovil.

Great example amidst all the pessimism of what can still be achieved on a reduced budget in this league.

Bet Andy Williams, although a little richer than he would be, is a little bit gutted that his former club have gone up a year after he moved on.

Hopefully it'll encourage him to hit the back of the net more next season.
