This is disgusting....

I bet those Bostonians who chucked money in the IRA buckets find this a bit hard to stomach.

Horrible...

Timed to cause the most damage as around 4-5 hours are when most runner come in.

The people who have orchestrated this are scum.

Targeting runners raising money for charity...? Unbelievable...beyond words.

Absolutely awful.  There's a horrific photo doing the rounds on fb with a poor chap being pushed in a wheelchair with his legs blown off.  Why somebody would take a photo like that and then post in on the internet is beyond me?

This stuff happens in Iraq and Afghanistan on a daily basis and no one cares. Just because it's America doesn't warrant the massive outpourings of grief from everyone, 36 people were killed in bomb attacks in Iraq today, did it even make the news?

Quiet. You're upsetting my right to be white, morally outraged, and somewhat racist to a degree generally tolerated by society in the immediate aftermath of a terrorist attack.

I forget what program it was on where they said, as far as the media is concerned, 1 death in England is worth 10 in Europe is worth 100 in the rest of the world.  Strangely, the USA seems to count towards the England end of the scale.

All pretty awful of course.

That seems to be right. I'd say for our media it goes 1 death in the UK, 2 in America, 10 in Europe, 100 the rest of the world. For America it's 1 death in America, 10 in the UK (Europe), 100000000000000000000 rest of the world. Iraq/Afghanistan - it didn't even happen.

Yeah Visočan, can you make sure you make such relevant points at a time when this kind of thing isn't happening please. Perhaps during the Ashes Series, 4th test would be good.

Dear oh dear, what's the matter with him writing what he wrote, there's nothing offensive in his point, and to be honest he's not wrong with what he wrote either.
