Nick Watkins showing more loyalty then Di Canio to Swindon
Thought he had gone also....so how do you work that out?

Also it seems a lot of people have aired there opinions of Di Canio....that is fair enough.
Di Canio has never slagged the fans off and as far as i am aware has kept a pretty low profile since leaving the club and to my knowledge has not once slagged the club off.
He gave HIS reasons why he left....that isn't disrespectfull in my opinion.
The why he walked has been done to death........i liked the hand grenade approach,it got us top of league one.
I understand why others didn't.
To be fair to Mr Watkins he is just saying it as it was,he isn't slagging PDC off....unlike many others who only know part of the story.
All the press releases have an air of aggression in them aimed at PDC...which is a real shame really because while at the helm he must have been a dream for the newspapers and TV to have around....that is the nature of that beast i suppose.
Oh well i am getting fed up with sticking up for him....truth is i really dont know what he did wrong to get so much aggro from certain sections of our support.
Surely if your best player is sold without your knowledge,as a manager that cant/wont happen.
How many managers stay till late to help clear the snow from the pitch then order food for all the other helpers....how many managers run on to the pitch to show there passion after a last min winner....how many managers offer to cough up there own money when it was obvious money was tight...how many managers didn't take a single day off even though both his parents passed away in the same year....even staying to watch his team at one point.
So yes we move on and as i say the new management look the real deal......but i find it sad that the legacy of the man who brought pride and passion back to the town and the club is being tarnished by the media who seem hell bent on getting a war started in the press.
As i say Mr Watkins handled this interview very well....and he will be much missed by the club,i wonder why he felt the need to go is the question.
