Are there goal keeping specific coaching badges? Does he have any?

This is why people want ex players as managers. Digby was a fine player for us no doubt - but as far as I'm aware he has no qualifications and has only ever coached 'professionally' here short term whilst also being commercial manager. People seem really happy about his return regardless.

I understand we are desperate and this is a short term stop gap but over excited I am not...

Agreed would be much better to have no temporary coach at all.  Roll Eyes

Loved Fraser back in the day and he is still Swindon through and through...clever move from Jed to win over the fans..

Didn't he go to QPR as goal keeping coach for a while?

Yes and yes. Is there really any need to be so snide about this?

Based on what diggers said before, I didn't think there were goalkeeping specific coaching badges. Is this new or did I get the wrong end of the stick?

Are we going to get to see Fraser in the dug out on Saturday?  I cannot think of too many other candidates.

wondering if the goal keeper coach is qualified taking into account the fact he hasn't really coached 'professionally' oh the audacity of it all.

It could be worse. We could have appointed a caretaker management team that has no management or coaching experience or qualifications.

Then your powers of observation are letting you down.

I could type up my feelings on all of this but no one would bother to read it and just see what they want to see anyway

Fraser is the best goalkeeper we've had in my memory.

Had it all.
His kicking was poor :-)

The fact remains, you only ever pop out of the woodwork when you have something to fucking moan about.

Nope, coincidence.

Week off work, so awake during the day and asleep at night for a change, if I was at work I'd have slept through all of this, wish I had..

At the moment, he's a temporary standin for a couple of weeks while the new owners get round to sorting out a backroom staff because the last lot of "professionals" fucked off and left us in the lurch, really professionally. I reckon he'll be able to muddle through.
