He's hardly going to say that they plan on sacking him during a difficult takeover,is he. Think the mirror article is bollocks but time will .tell regarding all the current issues. Actions not words are all that matters.

Who remembers when Roy Evans went, when the club was regained by Carson etc, because we couldn't afford him. There was a certain optimism in the air about the next appointment....we got Kingy back  There's no real need to sack PdC, as it's more likely, like Evans, he'll walk...then you can get Newell etc. |

The fact that he has broken the NDA to dismiss this rumour outright suggests that he might actually be telling the truth. |

You would assume that if the plan were to sack Di Canio, Jed would have kept quiet and not released this statement. If not, he'll never recover from the fan's backlash and I'm sure he wouldn't open himself to that? The main concern is whether Di Canios believes any of it and how he reacts? |
