Nice one. I thought there was no chance of the game going ahead, just from what people had said about the conditions in the surrounding area and the fact that we are turning into a nation of 'namby pambies'. Fair play. Better win now.

It'll be the same as the last few times they've asked fans to help out. The pitch and carpark will be ok, but they'll postpone so the away fans don't get stuck.
I know it's on now, but they wouldn't give a shit about the fans. Carlisle away a case in point. |

Fooking hell, had a lie in as I expected this to be off. Massive respect for everyone who helped out. Those of us going will definitely try and create some atmosphere, even if it is a reduced crowd! To Paddington and then Swindon!  On a side note, my mate who was going to come today is still snowed in- is there any form of ticket refund he can get? Not sure on the club's policy RE refunds... Edit: forgot my prediction- I honestly have no fucking clue, but I expect/want the players to buy into the hard graft that the manager and fans have put in, and for us to smash the Shrews 5-0. YOU REDS. |

Terrific post again Shaw Rosso,fantastic effort by the volunteers,groundstaff and PDC and his coaching staff to get the game on when so many league 1 and 2 games are off.Potential buyers have got to be impressed at what this club can do. Those welsh wannabes are going to get humped 3-0 and go into meltdown on blue and amber tonight on how we cheated them out of the title last season and our imminent demise

Its going to be a reduced gate surely. Already had a few friends threatening to cry off due to roads. Actually cry off is a bit strong, its not unreasonable! But I can't imagine they are the only ones. |
