Wigan are currently 1up, I hope they didn't celebrate too much and break anything ! Corr has got another goal tonight against Brentford, the mans on fire.
Might as well add burn injuries to everything else he's had.

And so Bournemouths unbeaten run comes to an end. James was dropped to the bench and Grabban was subbed after 34 mins.

Nevertheless, Bormuff are shelling out some big roubles, on a kid from Aberdeen. The Dons, don't want him to go, but accept they'll only get £250K in the summer, so have put a higher fee on him in this window, Bormuff are the only takers.

We're doing well to compete with such a massive club...

Can't say I have seen him play but he is highly regarded in Scotland.

I hear it is around £500k (£250k up front plus add ons) in total that its a fair whack of money and hopefully this will stop the Ritchie to Boremuff rumours.

At least Aberdeen is a half decent team not a piss ass little south coast club with money to burn but still cant afford to fix a £10 piece of perspex.

There is NO WAY Bournemouth cannot have exceeded their playing budget if ours put us under embargo by November. Their squad was about 5 or 6 players bigger than ours on Saturday and with the sort of names at this level you'd expect to be on much higher wages than the average. Add in lower attendances and still trying to sign another player to add to that overinflated squad for £500,000 in Jan (and presumably on significant wages to go alongside that): the calculations cannot possibly compute. How are they making it work under FFP?

I was wondering this too, Barnard was allegedly on £14k per week while on loan at Bournemouth (according to thier forums) they covered 50% of his wages for the duration of the loan.

There is no way they can be under the FFP rules.

Their rich Russian benefactor sponsors either the stand or the stadium itself, and under the rules, he can keep pumping in as much cash as he wants as the sponsorships count as part of the turnover. This is the same way MacAnthony got past the rules at Peterborough

Don't want to prolong this but isn't Eddie 'The lush' Mitchell supposed to be some sort of jobbing builder?  Surely he could send one of his youngsters along with a couple of bits of '4 by 2' and sort it?
That's if he stays sober long enough to remember the job needs doing.
