With no match to preview today I’m feeling a bit lost, almost without a purpose, and to make matters worse, Mrs Rosso has got the Christmas decorations down, the lights are pinned in place, round every window imaginable (even the downstairs shitter), and I am up and down like a fucking fiddlers elbow trying to stop 4 felines from destroying them with just a Nerf Gun to try and deter them with.

So, the question is, what are you doing to get through this dark day of footballius minimus?
Myself personally, delivering a pile of junk mail to 2000 houses across Swindon town centre, so if you see a fattish thing with a rucksack walking from one house to the next, that could well be me.

For those wanting a footballing alternative, Swindon Supermarine are at home to the mighty Mangotsfield United, or for those who fancy a bit of grass roots cup action, Highworth are at home to Marlow in the 3rd round of The Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup, I’m sure either team will appreciate any extra support.

Mrs Rosso is doing some Christmas Fair thingy at St Michaels in Highworth tomorrow, some hall they have? Anyway, Simon Ferry is scheduled to do a guest appearance, so it could be worth popping along for a laugh, the fair runs from 1-4pm, sounds like mainly Christmas paraphernalia, the wife is doing Christmas Gift Bags filled with sweets at £3 a go, thankfully I have no part in this whatsoever.

For those with youngsters, Santa’s Grotto is now open in The Brunel Centre, and for just £4.50, you can scare the shit out of the kids, feel about as comfortable as a bacon sandwich in a synagogue, and leave with a quality toy that was blatantly purchased en masse from Poundland.

Finally, Swindon Steam (the name always makes me think of a big pile of turd), have a Christmas 2012 Market on the go over the weekend. If its anything like the Sunday farmers market, you will need a mortgage to buy some tinsel.
The Prediction – After a couple of hours of walking in the cold it will be back home to warm up with a few cans of Tyskie, Soccer Saturday and Pie and Chips for tea.

For those Christmas shopping with the other half, unlucky

Catching the train into Bath first thing, my good wife wants to have a look around the Christmas market ( don't even now if it opens in the mornings ? ) Then Hoping to watch some local rugby in the afternoon but failing that I've got the joyous job of getting the decorations out of the loft although we won't be putting them up until next weekend ( 2nd weekend in December is our tradition ) then a few beers to finish the day off.

For some reason the lights always go up on the 1st and the tree on the 13th. The Bath Christmas Market is open from 10am-9pm

I am going to wolverhampton, to get crunked with Uni friends, and hope to meet George Elokobi.

Annoyingly, my body is still in midweek mode, so I've already been awake since 6. Doesn't bode well for later.

Working for 2 hours this morning which is a pain in the arse as it take me pretty much that long to drive there and back. And then Winterwonderland in Hyde Park later on to drink copious amounts of Gluhwein. It does feel very strange having no football today.

This morning will be spent trying to entertain the kids whilst the wife's out. Later I'll be off into town to purchase a coat after discovering the car thief made off with my old one. Maybe a new suit too, given none of mine fit me any more. This weight loss is proving rather expensive.

Looking after kids, then into town to start the dreaded xmas shopping and to get an inner tube to replace the self sealing one that didn't self seal.

Well, he probably is wondering why he has not had to make a prediction this week, i think he is looking forward to the franchise match tomorrow though
