Thompson gets man of the match, which sounds very deserved according to twitter at least.

Don't want to tempt fate or anything but we've got what should be 5 pretty easy fixtures coming up now. Hoping by December time we're firmly in the mix, good times!

Well done lads, very easy and very enjoyable listening. Now for a rant, why the xxxx does swindon player spend so much time cutting out when the other teams player never has the same problem. If Norman Collier was a football commentator,he'd work for swindon player, what a shambles.Glad to see Nathan Thompson getting a run,he looked devastated after being injured at Bradford City after waiting so patiently last season and its great to see our own youngsters coming through

Just to put the icing on my particular cake, I've got to look in at our yellow friends forum.

I reckon meltdown just isn't strong enough

Thompson did play very very well, but Bourenmouth were not playing with wingers. Encouraging signs though.

First time i've seen Roberts and Ward. Both looked very good. In general, bar a scrappy 10 minutes before we scored the third we played pretty good I thought. Williams looked very lively, but tried to be a bit too clever in front of goal.

Although that performance should be praised, it should also be said that Bournemouth were fucking dreadfull. Absolutley dire.

But...but...but they won their cup final, and now they want their manager out after only a few weeks

It's actually very amusing what is happening to them after they fluked the johnstone's paint win. Still let them fester in league 2 as we continue our progress forwards!!

Started off a bit unsure of how it was going to go. Though it was a bit soft in the middle it felt fresh and es pleasantly satisfying. An improvement on last season.

Enough about my chicken burger.

That was comfortable, good and despite a slightly lower standard at the start of the second half we were never in trouble.

My youngest first game today, not a bad start. My eldest first game was a 6 0 too

Pretty comfortable, bar them having decent chances either side of half time.

Should've had 2 pens, the first one blatant pull on Williams after Thompson puts a lovely ball across the 6 yard box, and less blatant for handball soon after.

We hit the woodwork twice, and it could've been 8, with very decent chances in the first couple of minutes. Roberts looked threatening on the left all game.

Loved PdC waving his foot when the TE asked Paolo for a wave !!!

Looking forward to Tuesday.
