But he comes from Keynsham which is Shitty territory I'd hate him if he supported ManUre  or Chelsea.

When Somerset last won a trophy... the C and G back in September 91....it coincided with STFC beating ColU with a Ruddock free kick..1st win of that season, then in the evening beating Germany 5-1......it doesn't get much better.

Did we have message boards and the internet back then?

I rmember that game. The one time I remember Ruddock being useful!

I was sat in the nationwide and didn't even see the ball until it was in the back of the net!

And there's no point talking about the 5-1 game. Its all been said!

I'd give Ruddock some credit for his performance in the 3-1 win at Reading on our last visit......he still had enough about him to head away some dangerous corners and crosses, and he made the first goal for Graz.

Maybe. All I remember of that game is chanting "You fat bastard" and him turning around and saying "Who? Me?!"

I have several blurred photos of Danny Invincibile's goal in that game, one with the keeper in a weird curved position trying ot keep it out. Top stuff!

MyonlySwindon and the Fanny forum have been running since before 99. And loads of obscure ones like we8oxford and that.

That was about it.

Thinking about it....I started posting around 2001.....MoS obviously was around prior to that because the squad list hasn't been updated since 2000.

Its difficult to imagine that before spending hours on computers I used to spend hours doing other stuff.

It's easy when you've got Graeme Smith in your side. :-))(
