That was the Notts County debacle. I think the majority of the crowd booed in that one. Season tickets were being thrown and all sorts.

I think it was the amount of money we paid (£300k?) for such an untalented footballer that I found hard to forgive. I remember seeing him getting off the team bus wearing glasses and wondered if he ever wore contacts during the games! |
