I dont know enough Pox fans to let it wind me up.  When I next go to Oxford academy Ill take a bit of light hearted piss taking but big deal.  Im a big boy and its easy enough to just say, yeah but were in division 1.

I hate they're losing but there just another team.  Some of their fans are cunts, some of ours are to.  Were slightly more successful than them and we'll continue to be so for a few years.  Ill give more of a shit if we play crap and lose on Saturday.

So all in all, whatever.  We'll move on.

I don't know any scummers either. When I broke my ankle the doctor who did my x-ray was a scummer and he joked about me never walking again when I told him who I supported.

I detest all this Oxford v Swindon shit - all the hype, the moronic, witless, homourless 'banter' on both sides.* I'll be delighted if we don't play them again for the next 10 years.

losing doesn't help of course

As I go back far too many years, the Bristol City/Rovers games (and even Reading to a certain extent) were the games that had far more importance and to my mind that will always be the case.

I actually thought I would be more bothered by this, but I am genuinely quite meh-ish about the whole thing.

Mind you I did have a few beers last night, perhaps my disappointment is being numbed by the mild hangover I'm nursing.

I am feeling pretty much the same. I am glad it was in the JPT and not an important game though.

Now its time to concentrate on the real cups and the league and get our players fit after so many early season injuries.

To be honest if we'd just beaten them 4 times on the bounce I'd be ecstatic.

Not sure why, but I'm not gutted this morning. The whole thing has been strangely low key for an Ox v Swindon game. Perhaps I'd have felt more bothered had we won?!

The longer it was at 0-0 I just had a nagging doubt it was coming. Not that I didn't go skitz when we conceded - more due to the manner in which we did than anything else.

3 times I've been there now and not so much as a fucking goal to show for it.

I'm pissed off with losing to them all the time. It does matter and we'd be lapping it up if roles were reversed
